How Easy Was The Yo-Yo Desk 90 To Assemble?
The desk arrived in an extremely large and heavy box. I did actually need my partner to move and assemble the desk due to how heavy it was. However, I will say this is more due to that fact that I currently have abdominal issues that prevent me from lifting. Normally I would have assembled this personally.
The desk was really quite easy to assemble. It came with full instructions that were easy to understand. It took my partner about a quarter of an hour to fully assemble the desk.
Moreover, my partner was particularly impressed that it even came with a small screwdriver. So you do not even need to go hunting around for your own to start assembling the desk straight away. And it even comes with cable ties to help you set up a safe and cable free working space.
I did initially set it up with the split level worktop / keyboard stand in place. But quickly realised that as I use a laptop, just using the top of the desk was a better option for me. I placed the Yo-Yo Mat that I was also sent into the place where I was going to be working and I was all ready to try out my new working area.
What Are My Thoughts After Using The Yo-Yo Desk For A Week?
The desk is incredibly easy to adjust. The press levers are easy to operate, and the desk adjusts quickly and effortlessly using the aircraft grade aluminium smooth gas spring. I am easily able to adjust it to my perfect height (I’m 5 foot 4).
Coming in at 89cm wide and 78 cm deep, there is plenty of room for my laptop, my camera tripod and notebooks to all be at hand. The desk is sturdy and strong, with a 15kg maximum load strength. And it is very easy to lower and move for storage.
Finally, the anti fatigue mat has also really helped me get the most of my desk. My dining room floor is hard wood, and so it is really important that I use a mat alongside my standing desk.
