Looking for a present for your cat? Or know someone who loves cats? I personally am a crazy cat lady. I adore my two fur monsters. However, they are really shy and HATE Christmas, especially the loudness of visitors and the festive fireworks and parties Christmas brings. So what should you get your feline friend this festive season? Here are some ideas for top gifts for your cat this Christmas. Or any time of year.

Top Gifts For Your Cat This Christmas

What would your cats really love for Christmas?

***Warning*** – the following may contain MAJOR CAT SPAM!

My two cats (Joy and Leo) have a definite list they wish to send to Santa Paws. And the following gift ideas are undoubtedly on it.

1. Something to chase.

Most cats I know love to chase and hunt objects. The Catit Roller Circuit contains a small ball that will spin through the tunnels but not come out away from the track. No more losing cat balls under the sofa!

For a plastic free ecofriendly toy option, why not try these Beco Catnip Wand toys?

 2. Somewhere To Climb and Scratch

Cats love tree towers for so many reasons. This one is a combined scratching post (an absolute must if you have carpets), has a lookout tower (cats adore getting to high spaces) and a hidey-hole for when they just need their own space.

3. A Machine Washable Pet Bed

Pet beds are great, but they do need to be washed regularly. This one is soft and cosy, the cat pictured looks very impressed with its quality.

My girl cat actually prefers the igloo type of cat bed, probably because she feels more safe and protected. I know that she will be spending most of Christmas Day in a bed like this one. Is your cat timid? Maybe they would like one of these too!

4. Some catnip spray

Catnip doesn’t affect all cats, but when your cat is affected they obviously love this potion. I love the name of this one! A spray of catnip can be applied to an old toy, so that you don’t need to keep buying new toys all the time.

5. Something to help them through the fireworks in the festive season.

If around your neck of the woods is anything like it is here in Leeds, the fireworks are pretty much continuous over the Christmas period. No fun for a nervous cat.

My cats are terrified of all the loud bangs, and so about now I start to spray around regularly with Feliway Spray. It really does help. Alternatively, you could use a plug-in type.

6. Something to Help Them Chill Out

Christmas may be fun for us humans, but all the business and noises of people visiting can really unsettle our cat friends. So why not indulge them with this feline sensory wellness centre? With massage spots for the back and head and catnip area, it could be the thing your cat needs to chill out in their own zone during the festive frenzy.

7. An Easy Way To Groom Them

Most cat owners know that the quickest way to a purr-fest with your feline friend is by a lot of stroking. And why not kill two birds with one stone by grooming them at the same time?

Your favourite puss will therefore LOVE this grooming mitt. Looking sleeker and being stroked at the same time? Yes please!

8. And Something For The Owners Too

A great idea for a gift for a cat and their crazy cat owners are these brilliant cat subscription boxes. Choose from a monthly or a single stand-alone box of gifts to purr-lease both cat and their feline friends.

The Cattitude Box is a monthly subscription box for cat lovers. Have a feline loving friend? This could be the purr-fect gift idea! Great idea as a Christmas, birthday present for a cat lover. Monthly subscription box or stand alone boxes available for purchase. Unique gift idea.

And Finally

Of course, if you REALLY love your cat, you will know that all they really NEED – is one of these.

These are such cute ideas for cats! I had no idea there was such a thing as catnip bubbles. I’m going to have to get some of those for my cats. 🙂

I am lucky that my two are ok to share their tower. But only she will fit inside her hidey hole these days!

Cat nip spray sounds easy and amazing! My 3 can’t pass up a good box though! We usually put out 1 for each of them.
