Small Gifts For Children – 2021 Review And Giveaway!

CreArt Painting By Numbers by Ravensburger – rrp £12

Age Suitability: Age 11+

It can be hard finding the perfect small gift for an older child, so I do tend to go down the art and craft route. This CreArt set from Ravensburger is a brilliant painting by numbers set for an older child. East enough to not be too taxing, but still get a fab allows result for your efforts.

Unlike most children’s painting sets you get a high quality paintbrush and lovely thick paints. And also unlike other painting by numbers, the picture to paint contains no black borders. Instead, they give you outlines in the colours that you need to use, which leads to a much more professional result at the end of the day.

Find more about the full range of CreArt sets here on the Ravensburger website – and buy them here on Amazon. They start at around £8, but the set we were sent costs £12.

Amazing Magic Changing Pens rrp £15

Age Suitability: All ages

Sticking with the art theme, I always love to give creative and craft based gifts as small gifts for children. But these magic colour changing pens are a brilliant idea for children of all ages. Not only do you have a full range of colours for a standard colouring in activity, but they have the amazing ability to change colour using the special activating pens within the kit.

Write secret messages. Make cool patterns. Make reverse images.  And no, they don’t have that same strange smell like they used to have in the 80s. Find them at the Wicked Uncle Website,or buy them here at Amazon.

Scratch off the black surface of each of the pads leaves to reveal a beautiful colourful or metallic surface. With 40 pages and 2 scratch tools for around £5.99, these are really good value too!

Halocline Streamline Plus Swimming Goggles rrp £12

Or if your young recipient has plenty of swimwear, why not buy them some goggles instead. My little girl loves being able to see underwater and dive to the bottom. These streamlines goggles with UV protection and anti-fog lenses really help.

They are soft silicone for comfort and they come in 2 colours – light blue and pink. See the pink option in the photo above and find them on the Halocline website here.

Throw it at a wall and watch the crazy ricochets you can achieve. Play with it like a normal ball. Or use it as a fidget spinner on your fingertips.
