Have you heard of Zimpli? We love Zimpli kids here at A Rose Tinted World. We’ve reviewed several of their products in the past, but this year they have brought out some great new toys. We were delighted to be offered the chance to review some of their new Zimpli products, and tell you what we think.

And  you can try them too! Read on, as later on you get a chance to win a selection of these items!

New Zimpli Products – Our Bumper Review And Giveaway

Zimpli are an innovative brand that make unique sensory toys. Amongst the items on their website they sell Gelli and Slime for sensory bath times and play. But they also sell their popular fake snow product, SnoBall Play, chocolate emoji makers and bath bombs. This time we were sent a selection to review that included some of their newest products, and some of their old favourites.

Ryan’s Worlds Gelli Worlds – rrp £17.99

This was the most exciting product for Elizabeth, as she loves Ryan. Ryan has a YouTube channel that reviews the latest toys, and he has recently branched out in selling his own brand toys too. So as soon as my 4 year old saw this exclusive Ryan Gelli toy from Zimpli, she couldn’t wait to give it a try.

Elizabeth and the Ryan's Worlds Gelli Worlds Zimpli

She has actually tried a very similar Zimpli product before. A couple of years ago, Zimpli gifted us one of their Fantasy Gelli Worlds. And this new Ryan branded product is very similar, except with that inimitable Ryan twist.

This new pack comes with an inflatable play tray, 6 fantasy toy pieces, and 5 bags of blue gelli powder. The toy pieces include a small Superhero that looks just like Ryan, along with some other cute critters.

All you do is fill the tray with 3 litres of warm water, add the gel powder and wait for it to turn to gelli. Then the play begins!

Elizabeth and the Ryan's Worlds Gelli Worlds Zimpli 2

Elizabeth loved the new look pack. And I love the fact that play can be focussed in the one tray. The gel is skin friendly, non toxic and doesn’t stain.

Clean up is easy too. Just pour the majority of the gelli down the toilet and flush away, and use warm water to thin and clean away the rest.

Best of all, the 5 packs of gelli mean that this is a toy that will get used again and again. We have even bought Zimpli Gelli Play in the past to get even more use out of the last set we reviewed. My little girl loves her new play set, and I am sure that it will get loads of use in the future.

Glitter Slime Baff – rrp £4.99

Next, we tried the Zimpli Slime Bath. Zimpli Slime comes in lots of different colours, but one of the latest additions to their range is Glitter Slime.

As you can expect, Elizabeth asked to try the glitter slime first. What child doesn’t love slime, and when you add glitter into the mix then you have a little girl dream.

As with most other Zimpli Slime or Gelli baffs, you need to fill the bath only up to a certain point with warm water, before adding the powder that turns the bath to slime!

Elizabeth and the Glitter Slime Baff Zimpli

The slime is really slippy and yucky. Which is brilliant for a child! Elizabeth loved getting all slimed up. And once the bath was finished, you simply add a lot more water to thin the mixture down before letting it drain away.

Again, the mixture is non-toxic and doesn’t stain. And most importantly it is eco-friendly. The glitter is bio-glitter that is biodegradable in sea water.

Slime Baff – rrp £4.99

If you don’t want glitter, Zimpli do a regular Slime Baff in blue, green or red. We were sent the red colour. It was just as slimy as the glitter version, but without the sparkles.

As with the glitter Slime Baff, do take care when getting in and out of the bath when using the slime. Things do get very slippy. We have a shower attachment over our bath, so find that rinsing off with that before getting out of the bath really helps.

Gelli Baff – rrp £4.99

Fancy having a bath in a gloopy gelli just like the one Elizabeth played with in the Gelli World above? Well, you can do just that with Zimpli Gelli Baff.

This fun bath goo comes in blue, green, red and pink. And Zimpli also do a colour change version. All versions are skin safe and biodegradable.

Again, run a bath with the required water, add the powder, and then add more water to get your desired gel consistency. Depending on the heat of the water, it can take 10-15 minutes to get to perfect goo-iness!

Elizabeth and the red gelli baff

Then, once you’ve had a bath, sprinkle the second pouch of gel remover into the bath. The gel turns to liquid and can easily be drained away.

The instructions also give you details on how to use the Gelli Baff in a bowl, or for table top modelling.

Gelli Play – rrp £1.99

Finally, Zimpli also make separate sachets of the Gelli play, which are just a bit bigger than the sachets in the Ryan’s world pack. Each one of these packs has enough powder to make 4 litres of Gelli, or you can add a little more water to make a runnier gel.

Zimpli Gelli Play

These are great for parties, for playing in the sink or larger play trays.  But as I said before, I have bought them and split them into two halves to use in the Gelli Worlds set. This means that you get so much more play out of the sets. And at £1.99, they are great value for money as a stocking filler.
