This week I am feeling really under the weather and full of cold. I am forever leaving blogging until the last minute. I am actually really late this week. But I then thought that it gives me the perfect opportunity to join in with a lovely link called “Living Arrows” that I have been meaning to do for a while. Living Arrows is about celebrating childhood. The project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” and every Monday, Donna at What The Redhead Said shares a moment from her week and invites others to do the same as part of the linky.

I am actually going to share two great moments from our week. It is lovely to watch E  growing up. And I feel so blessed to be able to spend so much time with her. Even if today she is playing nurse to me.

Last Thursday we visited one of our favourite places, Temple Newsam grounds and farm. It’s free to park, the farm is free for E and only cost me £4, and there is lots to do. It was a lovely day, and we found the play park in the farm really good fun. E loved the slide, which was very fast. You can see the joy in her face!

Our second moment is E’s first face paint. She was very unsure at first about whether she was going to go through with it. She sat still for just long enough to have a cat face paint and a pink Batman glitter tattoo. She loved the result, so I am sure that she will be much quicker next time to agree to having it done!
