Father’s Day Gift Guide 2020
It can be very difficult to find the perfect gift for your Dad. I sadly lost my own dad many years ago, but do like to spoil my other half on behalf of our little girl. Are you struggling to find that brilliant gift idea? Then read on, for these may be right up your street…
For An Active and EcoFriendly Dad: Yellow Bee Ohelo Steel Reusable Water Bottle – £30
These 500ml steel bottles from Ohelo are stylish and practical. They keep hot drinks hot for 12 hours and cold drinks cold for 24. So are perfect for the active dad on the go.
He will love the practical feature that the mouth of the bottle is wide enough to fit your average ice cubes. No messing. And they are BPA/BPS/BPF free with a super soft strap for carrying. Being sustainable has never been so chic.
For The Nostalgic Or Sport Loving Dad: Historic Newspapers – Personalised Football Book – from £39.99
This personalised historic football book is the perfect present for the dad who lives for his favourite football team. With over 60 teams to choose from, there is the chance to go back in time through the newspaper headlines and clippings. Right back to when the club first started.
Explore how your team had great goals, thrilling cup victories, legendary triumphs and all the drama of promotions and relegations through the years. All documented by the press in detailed reports. Relive those cherished memories following your team with this incredible book.
I was sent the Bradford City book for my other half, who is a huge fan of the club, and has been all his life. It is an amazing piece of memorabilia for any Bantams fan, with over a century of football headlines to reminisce with.
The books come with a choice of size and personalisation. You can also choose to have the recipient’s name embossed on the front. And to have a dedication printed on the opening title page.
My copy is an A3 bound book with a presentation box. And I must say, it is absolutely stunning, printed on quality paper with a wealth of colours. I can think of several other men who I am sure would love one of these for their favourite teams. And I know that if your bought one for your football mad dad, he would definitely not be disappointed!
Having said all this, is your dad not really that into football? Historic Newspapers do also have commemorative books from other sports including Rugby, Cricket, Boxing and Formula 1.
Dad not really into sport but loves history? Historic Newspapers can make him a newspaper book from his own date of birth, which again can be fully personalised. Or choose an original archive newspaper from their extensive collection.
For The Fun Loving Dad: Personalised Socks From Printsfield.com – from £16.95
Come on, what dad doesn’t like socks?! And now you can go that little extra mile by adding your face onto those socks to personalise them that little bit more.
