I had my first child when I was 44, and being an older parent does come with some distinct challenges. Parenting at any age is hard, but the last few years has definitely given me a new outlook.

I am sure that as I get older still and pass the 50 mark, there will be even more to share with you on this unique perspective. As a generation, we are having children later in life, so I definitely feel that there is a place for these older mum posts.
