For me, the bedroom is the most important room in your house. After all, you spend most of your day in there sleeping. So it needs to be welcoming and comfortable. And what better way to do this than with a bohemian bedroom decor? Well, here is how to get that look.

Bohemian Bedroom Decor – How To Achieve The Look
Keep It Neutral
The key feature of a boho decor is a neutral palate. From cream to soft warm browns, a neutral colour scheme is the perfect base for a boho bedroom.
And along with the neutral base, think cozy. Add some chunky comfortable pillows, cushions and throws in neutral shades, as these bring a random yet welcoming feel to the whole room.
Natural Look Features
To enhance the neutral colour scheme, add natural look features and furniture. Such as a natural solid wood floor from somewhere like Flooring365 which has been complemented by a huge rug. Or why not think of making your own rag rug in neutral colours?
Make the furniture the main attraction of the room, by having distressed, stripped or natural wood pieces.
Keep It Light By Using Mirrors And Glass
One of the key things to making a space look larger is using light and mirrors. Glass partitions, screens and mosaic mirrors are a wonderful way of keeping your boho bedroom light and spacious.

Bring The Outdoors In
One of my favourite features of a boho bedroom is plants. From cacti to trailing plants in macrame holders, you can go to town bringing the outdoors in using a wide variety of greenery.
Why not craft your own holders? And it is perfect for the current trend of growing your own herbs and vegetables. I am currently growing tomatoes, and they are a great addition to any bedroom windowsill, as they grow so well indoors.
Add Some Eclectic Accessories
One of the most wonderful thing about bohemian bedroom decor is making it your own. Add some fairy lights in a dark corner. Or a picture from your favourite artist.
Anything goes if it fits your personality and style. Make the room yours. Nothing needs to match, that is the beauty of the look.
And you have a beautiful bohemian bedroom decor. So stylish, yet so relaxing too. Is this the kind of look you would go for? Or are you looking for another on trend look?

I’d never have considered growing tomatoes in my bedroom. I’ve got some trailing cherry tomatoes in baskets that would actually look pretty cool on my windowsill.
They also smell great! And are perfect for sunny windowsills…
I love the bohemian look, especially in a bedroom. Mine isn’t quite bohemian but I love quirky accessories in mine.
I love this bedroom theme. I am a big fan of earth colors and all the browns in this design plus indoor plants makes it look so cozy! I might “steal” this idea if we do go ahead with a bedroom renovation.
These rooms look stylish and pretty, i love introducing lights into the house more, both my daughters have them
I do love the look, we have been looking at different bedroom themes lately for our daughters bedroom x
These are some lovely ideas, I have to admit I do like a few things from the bohemian theme, I am awful though for picking different bits from different themes and making my own mash up.
My parents put their tomato plants in my old bedroom window haha!

Those are some great tips and it looks amazing. I’ve never thought of growing some tomatoes inside and I think it’s a great idea.
