Ubud

Ubud is probably one of the most beautiful areas of Bali. It charms thousands of tourists each and every month.

As the art and culture capital of the island, the province is filled with elegant art galleries and fascinating traditional performances. It is definitely not something to be missed. Not only can you experience the Indonesian culture at its best, but you have the opportunity to visit

  • the Sacred Monkey Forest,
  • the gorgeous rice terraces,
  • incredible tropical jungles and
  • some of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls.

Nusa Islands

The Nusa Islands are often referred to as “The Maldives of Bali’’ and it’s easy to see why. This beautiful string of islands just off the coast of Bali is an absolute tropical paradise. With more natural attractions than you can imagine.

The Instagram famous Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningans are each amazing in their own unique ways. But all three have an incredible underwater scene, stunning wildlife and the clearest waters you’ll ever see.

Seminyak

Whilst Ubud is one of the most popular places to visit in Bali, Seminyak has it’s own personal charm. It is definitely worth a visit if you’re staying on the island.

With trendy cafe’s, delicious cocktails, stunning beaches and great links to both Canguu and Kuta – Seminyak has become popular amongst Bali’s younger visitors.

Lombok

Lombok for some is a place to go that reminds them of how Bali was decades ago. Before it became a popular tourist destination.

With quiet beaches and stunning landscapes that are on par with the island of Bali, Lombok is arguably one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia.

Among the glorious sights on the island, there is the stunning Pink Beach and volcano – Mount Rinjani. An ideal weekend trip if you’re staying in Bali, Lombok is not to be missed.

Komodo Islands

When visiting Indonesia, one of the most popular tourist destinations is Komodo National Park, home to 5,000 dinosaur-esque Komodo dragons.

The island has been delighting visitors with its nature reserve and amazing scuba diving opportunities for years. Making it a proud owner of one of the 7 New Wonders of Nature.

The three islands that make up the area are absolutely perfect for adventure travellers. So if you’re looking for an incredible and unforgettable experience on your trip to Indonesia, definitely consider visiting the amazing Komodo Islands.

Pontianak

If you’re travelling to Indonesia and want to experience some of their traditional Indonesian cultures, Pontianak should definitely be on your list. Even if it is just for a short visit!

This gorgeous town sits at the top of the Kapuas River. Which is known to be one of the largest rivers in the world.

As the capital city of the West Kalimantan province, Pontianak is home to Indonesia’s indigenous Dayak people. This gives you the incredible opportunity to visit the nearby villages to meet their elders. They dedicate their time to rituals and traditional medicine.

If you want to experience the culture even more, you have the option to spend the night in a traditional longhouse. Before setting off down the river to experience the stunning wildlife the following day.
