Aah, Christmas. Whilst it should be the most relaxing time of the year, there are often times when the stress of it seems immense. Where are we going to get the tree from? Who’s coming over, and where will everybody be on Boxing Day? And did we really get all of the presents that we were supposed to, or is something missing? Buying gifts can be the toughest part of Christmas, especially when you just can’t think of what to get somebody. But don’t fear! I’ve come up with 5 unique christmas gift ideas, so that you don’t have to. Phew.

5 Unique Christmas Gift Ideas
Handmade gifts
We’re living in a time where everybody is becoming more conscious of their impact on the environment, so if you have a particularly eco-sensitive friend or relative, why not give them a handmade gift to match their values? It is sure to be needed and appreciated that much more.
Even better, why not personalise it for them too? With some svg graphics bundles and a Cricut machine, you can make a host of personalised gifts for all the family.
Gift an experience
You don’t always have to get somebody a material present, and gifting them an experience instead will give them something to remember for the rest of their lives. This could be a helicopter flight, a tank drive or a theatre trip, or may just be a spa day for your friends who would prefer to keep their feet firmly on the ground. Whatever it is, they won’t forget it.
Grow your own plants
If you have any friends or relatives who are of the green finger variety (rather than being the type of people who always bring on the demise of their plants without meaning to), then getting them a ‘grow your own’ kit could be a good idea. You can even get ‘grown your own cocktail ingredients’ kits if you think that your friends would prefer a Christmas tipple over tomatoes, so have a look into this!

Personalised gifts
There are plenty of websites and stores out there that will personalise gifts for you, from customised diaries to personalised jewellery. This adds a unique touch and will really make the receiver of the gift feel like you’ve thought about them. Having something that only you have will make anybody feel great.
Gift good food
Look, everybody loves food. If your friend has mentioned that they just love chocolate cake or a certain type of tea, and you’ve remembered this, then they’ll find it really sweet that you’ve given them such a thoughtful gift. Oh, and they’ll be glad they can eat something that really tickles their fancy, all because of you. Yum.
There are many unique and thoughtful gifts out there, so have a look and see what you can find! Whether it is something that you’ve put a lot of thought into, like a personalised gift or an eco-friendly item or if it’s an experience that they’ll never forget, your family and friends will just love these ideas, and you’ll be at the top of Santa’s ‘nice’ list all year.
What lovely ideas. I have bought a few experiences for friends and they have always been brilliant. I think I have most of my shopping done now thankfully!
