The advent bag

Today’s advent bag for the 4th of December has a Happyland Angel. This is a little bit of a clue today as to where the elf has hidden. So Elizabeth will have to go find the elf where her other Happyland figures are kept.

Where is the Elf?

Hiding in the Happyland house in our living room. She has taken up the whole upper level in a bid to get some sleep. A lot of the toys had too much caffeine at the tea party yesterday, and stayed up talking too late.

My cats also weren’t happy at the level of partying last night, they need their sleep too. So I’m thinking of getting them a Christmas gift to make up for it. But what do you get a cat for Christmas?

Music of the Day

The music today is a 70s classic from the amazing Boney M. Even more amazing is the fact that only 2 of the members in the video sang on their songs. The male voice heard isn’t that of front man Bobby Farrell, but the vocal was provided by German singer-songwriter Frank Farian, who also wrote the music for the group.

Hope you enjoy your day. See you tomorrow for another chocolate free helping of advent !

I love that you have clues as to where the elf is! How fun is that? And yes, you can’t forget your furry friends when it comes to gifts!

We will also be having clues to what activity I am doing with her. Its also a great way for her to start recognising numbers!

I love that song! gets me right in the mood for Christmas! We can’t give the cats catnip as they go batshit crazy on the stuff and once Harley was going skitso and ended up getting her head in a carrier bag handle and freaked out… I’m so worried that would happen again so they cannot have it – but laser pens are fun to use to watch them chase it.
Thank you for sharing this with us at #TriumphantTales. I hope to see you back next week!

My cats are too sedate to go totally running crazy but they do skeeter around the floor on their backs which is quite a sight!

Lola the bulldog has written a toy list that is miles long. Luckily, I love her and shopped early. #DreamTeam

Our two would love them too, though I imagine there would be a fight for the top of the tower.
