Hope you had a great weekend too? Welcome back to the Rose Tinted Advent Calendar. I’m bringing you a new post every day to get you into the mood for CHRISTMAS!!
#AD – gifted – We received a set of Zimpli Kids Products to review and sample.
10th of December
Music of the Day
The music of the day is “Let it Snow” – This version is from Michael Buble.
What is in the Advent Bag?
Today, the advent bag has a small Olaf from Frozen Figurine. Do you wanna build a snowman today?
Where is the Elf Today?
Today the Elf has decided to challenge the other toys to a snowball fight. Her and her new friend Sindy are in battle against Monkey and a couple of the other bears. Monkey has an unfair advantage with his long arms.
Building A Snowman – with Zimpli Kids
With all of this talk of snow today, we are dreaming of a white Christmas here at A Rose Tinted World. That seems pretty unlikely right now. But there are other ways of being able to build a snowman, even indoors.
Zimpli kids is a toy manufacturer that make unique and innovative products for indoor and outdoor play. So when we were asked to test and review their SnoBall Play product we couldn’t wait to have a go!
Using SnoBall Play
We were sent a pack of their SnoBall Play. Each pack makes 30+ snowballs, and all you have to do is add water. It is non toxic, non irritant and doesn’t stain. With a toddler in the mix this sounds perfect to me!
It comes with really detailed instructions, but is so easy to make. Just add water and stir.
E loves to pour, so adding water and mixing was a load of fun. Once she realised that it was making a fluffy snow mix, she was even more delighted, and started to play with the mix on her tray. She really enjoyed playing with the snow.
We even got to build a snowman.
Clean up was relatively simple too. You can throw the majority away in the main rubbish bin, and I vacuumed and wiped away the rest. It is probably better to use outside if you aren’t into messy play!
We only used one of the sachets in our pack, and are saving the other one to use outside for when it stops raining here in Yorkshire!
SnoBall Play is kind on skin, environmentally safe and made here in the UK. Why not check out the Zimpli website to get some yourself? Prices start at £2.99

I love the creativity of this. In Cornwall we rarely see the real thing so this would be perfect. #GlobalBlogging
